Yancy was raised in the Bronx, New York. In 2004, he relocated to Fort Myers with his wife, Davina. He is the proud father of two sons and two daughters: Yancy Jr., who serves as an assistant principal in New York; Lance, a lieutenant paramedic with the FDNY; Divina, a police officer in North Carolina; and Alexis, a teacher in California. Yancy’s professional background lies in operations and facilities management. He commenced his career in the private club sector in 1999, beginning at Century Country Club in Purchase, New York, where he worked for five years before moving on to Bonita Bay Country Club for a decade. He played a pivotal role in the establishment of both Esplanade Country Club and Hacienda Lake, ultimately finding pleasure at Vanderbilt Country Club in 2017. Yancy enjoyments in spending time with his family, grilling, and listen to music.
